Celebrating Art. Inspiring Community. Transforming Culture.
Kinsale Arts Week is more than a festival—it is a movement rooted in creativity, inclusion, and the transformative power of the arts. Founded in 2009 as an educational nonprofit based in Cleveland, our mission is to make contemporary and modern art accessible, engaging, and meaningful for all. Each year, we connect thousands of visitors with a deeper understanding and appreciation of visual art in all its forms—from classical and modern to digital and conceptual.
Our vision is a world where art is not reserved for a few, but shared by many. We believe that art has the power to shape communities, open minds, and inspire action.
A Lifelong Commitment to Art and Culture
Our founder, born and raised in Cleveland, has spent over 30 years at the heart of the city’s arts and culture landscape. With a career that blends leadership in the nonprofit cultural sector with over two decades of running the acclaimed Kin Sale Fine Art Gallery, this experience forms the foundation of our organization’s unique approach.
Our work is rooted in the belief that art should be accessible to all and serve as a bridge across cultural, social, and environmental divides. We are passionate about fostering spaces where diverse voices can thrive, where creativity fuels climate-positive action, and where the arts serve as a tool for inclusive community-building.
The Power of Accessible Art Education
Kinsale Arts Week was born from a deep realization—too many people want to understand art, but find the resources either too limited, too academic, or disconnected. Traditional art texts are often narrow in scope, difficult to navigate, or overly technical.
We set out to change that.
Our platform and programming are designed to bring art education into the 21st century. We simplify complexity without losing substance. We help people connect with the meaning behind great works of art and the vision of artists from around the world. We believe that by making art approachable, we make it powerful.

Our commitment extends beyond appreciation to action. We help artists find their voice, develop their craft, and share their work with the world.
